    The Black Queens secured a double over their Senegalese counterparts in friendlies as part of their preparation for the WAFU B Cup.

    The Black Queens locked horns with their Senegalese counterparts yesterday in what was a  rematch of Saturday’s game in which Ghana emerged 3-0 victors over the Teranga Lionesses.

    The second match which was played yesterday saw Senegal improve massively in all aspects of their game making it difficult for the Queens to penetrate.

    Avaldsnes IL midfielder, Evelyne Badu scored the only goal of the match in the 84th minute to ensure coach Nora Hauptle has a 100% record as Black Queens coach

    The Swiss coach has won all three games in charge of the team and is looking to take the Queens to victory in the upcoming WAFU B Cup.

    The two-legged encounter forms part of preparations ahead of the incoming  WAFU B Cup of Nations in 2023 and the 2024 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations qualifiers.
