Algeria FA President has confirmed an agreed pre-AFCON friendly with the Black Stars in January in Doha, Qatar.

The match will propel Black Stars ahead of their preparation for the  2021 Africa Cup of Nations next month in Cameroon.

Ghana will play another friendly before departing for Cameroon for the tournament.

Algeria have recorded 33 unbeaten matches in all competitions and clear favorites to defend their AFCON title.

The last encounter between the Black Stars and the Fennec Foxes was in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations where Ghana won 1-0 in the end.
