Black Queens set to face Senegal in back-to-back friendly games.

The first match will be on Saturday, April 8, and the second will follow on Tuesday, April 11.

The Fennecs of Algeria, who were originally supposed to face the Black Queens, were confirmed to be unavailable, hence the Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced the Lionesses of Senegal as Ghana’s new opponents.

Coach Nora Hauptle continues to assemble a strong squad to contend for the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Cup of Nations and the African Women’s Cup of Nations qualifications, and the games are anticipated to maintain her players in shape for upcoming assignments (WAFCON).

The Black Queens had their next match against Togo postponed after thrashing Benin 3-0 in a February international friendly.

After losing to the Super Falcons of Nigeria in the previous edition, the team is ready to win back its place in important tournaments like the WAFCON.
