    Black Princesses advance to the semi-finals after coming from behind to defeat Tanzania.



    The Black Princesses have progressed to the semifinals of the African Games women’s football tournament after staging an impressive comeback against Tanzania.

    The match, held at the Cape Coast Stadium, saw Tanzania take an early lead with a goal from Hasnath Ubamba in the 23rd minute.

    However, Ghana fought back strongly, with Tracey Twum scoring a header just before halftime to level the score. In the second half, Mukarama Abdulai scored the winning goal for Ghana, securing a 2-1 victory.

    The win showcased the team’s resilience and skill, with Twum and Abdulai proving to be standout performers. The Black Princesses will face Uganda in their next match on Friday, March 15, 2024.
