    The Black Meteors of Ghana have  qualified for the CAF U23 AFCON in Morocco after seeing off Algeria. 

    The Black Meteors of Ghana have  qualified for the CAF U23 AFCON in Morocco after seeing off Algeria with a 2-1 aggregate win.

    The 2023 CAF U23 AFCON which will be hosted by Morocco from June 24- July 8, 2023 in Morocco.

    The Black Meteors qualified  kind courtesy two goal from Sporting Lisbon players, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku in the two leg qualifier. 

    Ghana defeated Algeria 1-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stdium last night to book their place in the 2023 CAF U23 AFCON.

    Ghana’s qualification is also an opportunity to compete for a slot to play at the 2024  Paris Olympic games.

    Ghana missed the chance to play at the Olympics back in 2019 after losing on penalties to Ivory Coast in the semi-finals of the last U23 AFCON.
