Ghana Black Stars and Hull City striker Benjamin Tetteh will miss Black Star’s pre-world cup friendly games against Brazil and Nicaragua.

Benjamin Tetteh was included in Otto Addo’s squad for the two friendly games lined up for September.

The player’s club announced that he will be sidelined for 4-6 weeks with a hamstring injury he suffered against Sheffield United after 14 minutes.

“It’s difficult to say (how many weeks) – it could be four, or it could be six. It all depends on how he reacts. We’ll see during the process how quickly he recovers. We’re going to do our best and see (how it goes).” Hull City coach Arveladze said.

Ghana Black Stars coach Otto Addo will likely call up a replacement for the injured striker before the international break begins.

Ghana will face Brazil in France on the 23rd of September and Nicaragua four days later.
