Bashiru Hayford appointed as National Head Coach of Somalia

Former Ghana Black Queens coach Bashiru Hayford has been appointed as the Head coach of Somalia National Team, Sahara Football understands.

Bashiru received an offer to become the Head coach of the Somalia national team a few weeks ago and flew to complete the deal with the Somalia FA.

The experienced coach was heavily criticized after failing to guide the Ghana Black Queens to Africa Women Cup of Nations victory and also failing to qualify for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Bashiru is reportedly now in Mogadishu preparing his team.
