Veteran coach, Bashir Hayford has advised Medeama and Dreams to put things in place and prepare well for Africa.

Bashiru Hayford, the former coach of Asante Kotoko, has offered advice to Medeama Sporting Club and Dreams FC regarding their upcoming CAF inter-club contests.

fter Medeama won the Ghana Premier League last season, they will represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League, while Dreams FC will compete in the CAF Confederations Cup following their victory in the MTN FA Cup.

During an interview on Tuesday, the former Legon Cities coach emphasized the importance of both clubs managing their expectations and making necessary preparations for the competitions.

He pointed out that past performances of Ghanaian clubs in Africa should serve as a wake-up call for Medeama SC and Dreams FC.

Coach Hayford urged them to strengthen their squads and conduct thorough preparations to avoid disappointing results. He suggested that they scout players from other African clubs to build a competitive team.

Moreover, he advised them to be realistic in their expectations as their opponents will be strong and possess quality players. He emphasized that building a strong team with quality players should be their priority from the beginning.

In the CAF Champions League, Medeama SC will be facing Remo Stars from Nigeria in the first preliminary round, while Dreams FC, making their CAF Confederations Cup debut, have been drawn against Milo FC de Kankan from Guinea.
