Ghana Black Queens midfielder Priscilla Okyere has admitted that their clash with Mali will be tough but she is very hopeful for a victory.

She was speaking ahead of the clash with the Malians on Tuesday afternoon. “With football right now, every country, everybody is developing and in women’s football so many things have developed. Looking at the way they(Mali) played against Cameroon and we saw them in Ivory Coast, they were not like this. They have improved and played well in the game against Cameroon”, she said.

“For me, they are a very tough side but for Ghana we have a good team with good players and as the coach said he believes in us and when we are on the field of play we know what we are up to”, she added.

The Black Queens will be looking to secure a spot in the semi final with a victory over the Mali side who lost their first game to Cameroon 2-1 after taking the lead.
