StarTimes secures TV rights for 2019/20 Ghana Premier League The Ghana Football Association announced on Wednesday that StarTimes Ghana are the new television rights holders of the Premier League and the FA Cup in a five-year deal worth US$ 5.25 million. Nigeria’s center defender Daniel Cyrus Kalu is reportedly close to joining Hamitköy FC. Government clears evening matches for the Ghana Premier League The government has cleared Ghana Premier League games to be played in the evening in the country 19 years after night matches were banned in the country following the stadium disaster that killed 126 people. The announcement is a major boost for the local league as it needs to adjust its calendar to avoid clashes with European live matches on television.
