Asante Kotoko forward Frank Mbella Etouga has been named NASCO Player of the Month for January after his impressive output in the month. Etouga who is leading the Ghana Premier League Topscorer’s chat scored five goals in January. The Cameroonian forward was also adjudged as Most Valuable Player in two matches. Spokesperson of the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum has revealed that Irish-born trainer Chris Hughton did not submit an application for the Black Stars head coach job.  Hughton, who has now be named technical advisor to the Black Stars bench ahead of the Nigeria game has been in the country for about two weeks now. Former Medeama coach Ignatius Fosu and technical director Seth Ablade are entitled to a combined $47,000 in compensation for wrongful dismissal by the Ghana Premier League side, the Ghana FA has ruled.  The two-time FA Cup holders dismissed Ignatius Fosu after just three months in charge of the club.
