The president of the Ghana Football Association, has hinted that, come next season the much awaited minimum wages for pro footballers will commence. He pointed out that, there have many meetings with the Professional Football Association of Ghana ( PFAG) in relation to the issue and how to rollout the policy. Ghana will play DR Congo in the last round of U23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers. The two legged encounter will determine who qualifies for the 2023 AFCON U23 tournament set to be hosted by Morocco. The competition also serves as a qualifier for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Asante Kotoko beat bitter rivals King Faisal 3-0 in the first Kumasi derby of the season. Asante Kotoko ensured they grabbed all three maximum points from their King Faisal in their match day four encounter in the GPL. Steven Mukwala was unplayable as the Ugandan had a hand in all three goals scored. Ghanaian striker, Inaki Williams was on target in Bilbao’s win against Villareal over the weekend. Inaki’s fifth goal of the season ensured Bilbao ended a four match winless streak in the ongoing Spanish La Liga. The Ghanaian is enjoying a wonderful start to the new season with his goal scoring form. He and his Brother, Nico have been great for Bilbao in the opening stages of la liga. Newly appointed coach, Slavko Matic has delivered hearts of Oak’s first league win of the season. GoldStars opened the scoreline after just nine minutes with a fantastic shot outside the box  from Prince Owusu who spotted Richmond Ayi, off his line. Hearst kept their composure stringing beautiful short passes and attacking after conceding early in the game. The never say die boys are with a new coach, Slavko Matic and will face Gold Stars in the Match day 4 fixtures of the GPL.
