Maxwell Konadu’s side played with 10 men as Bortey Acquaye of Cities saw red in the 47th minute for pulling down Hearts of Oak’s Clinton Appiah. Ghanaian youngster Emmanuel Essiam makes FC Basel debut. Essiam was brought  on late in the Swiss Cup clash against Grasshoppers to  make his debut. Basel won 5-3 came out victorious at the Letzigrund with Essiam making his debut. The young midfielder could not hide his excitement after the game and posted: “I’m very happy to make my debut today after a very long time with a great victory, thanks to all the fans for your amazing support always,” Essiam joined  FC Basel last year fter winning the U20 AFCON  but spent most of his time with the youth team. Burnley have announced the signing of  Ghanaian youngster, Enock Agyei from Anderlecht Enoch Agyei has signed for the English Championship side on a four-and-a-half year deal from Anderlecht.
