President Akufo-Addo has ensured late Christian Atsu’s family  that, government will ensure that Atsu is given a befitting burial. Liberia President , George Weah has donated to the late Christian Atsu’s family. Christian Atsu tragically  lost his life following an earthquake in Turkey on February 6, 2023. Atsu was trapped for 12 days under rubble, his lifeless body was found at the apartment he was living in. President  Weah sent an entourage led by former Ghana player Kwame Ayew to present his eulogy to the player’s family.
