Angola coach, Pedro Goncalves has named his  26-man squad for 2023 AFCON qualifiers against Ghana. Angola will play the Black Stars of Ghana in a two legged encounter for a spot in the African Cup of Nations set to be hosted by Ivory Coast. Black Queens deputy captain Fafali Dumehasi has announced her retirement from international football. Fafali Dumehasi announced her retirement on Friday, March 10 after some incredible years with the Black Maidens, Princesses and the Black Queens. Ghana’s  Benjamin Tetteh suffered a hamstring injury in Hull City’s game against Coventry City. The Ghanaian striker had to be brought off  24 minutes into the game. Black Stars Coach Chris Hughton has named Patrick Kpozo, Majeed Ashimeru and Joseph Wollacott in his squad for this month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola. Christ Hughton  took charge of the team on February 12, 2023, has also included Edmund Addo of Spartak Subotica and Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer.
