The 20-year-old US Cremonese forward received a call up to the  Black Meteors squad to face Algeria  for a place in this year’s U23 Africa Cup of Nations. Reports indicate that, the  youngster has decided to decline the call up even after US Cremonese accepted to let him honour the invitation. Joseph Wollacott  has been cleared for Angola clash after injury scare in training on Tuesday Wollacot  picked up a toe injury last night during the Black Stars’ training session  at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. A goal post fell on the Ghanaian shot stopper which led to the injury. He was attended to immediately by the team medics. The extent of the injury has been said to be very minimal after the medical team of the Ghana FA assessed the goalkeeper.
