Black Meteors will face Algeria today in Kumasi for a place in the CAF U23 AFCON in Morocco The Black Meteors are poised to beat Algeria in the second leg of their CAF U23 AFCON qualifiers on Tuesday, March 28 and book a place in the tournament which will be staged in Morocco from June 24 – July 8. Godwin Ablordey takes over as acting coach of King Faisal after club parted ways with Jimmy Corbblah. King Faisal announced that, the club has club parted ways with head coach, Jimmy Corbblah on mutual grounds and assistant coach, Ablordey will act as interim head coach. Ablordey was Corbblah’s assistant coach during his time at the club. After 22 league  matches, Corbblah’s contract has been terminated as the club isn’t satisfied with his output so far. Medeama SC beat Kumasi Asante Kotoko 2-0 in Kumasi at the Baba  Yaya Sports Stadium. Jonathan Sowah scored the opening goal in the 15th minute  to put Medeama ahead. Kotoko struggled to create any decent  chances as the defence of Medeama were resolute,The mauves and yellows held on to the lead  going into the break.
