African Cup of Nations host country, Cameroon is the latest to announce several coronavirus cases in their camp. The Indomitable Lions face Burkina Faso in the first game of the tournament on 9 January. Watford’s Emmanuel Dennis and fellow attacker  Victor Osimhen have both dropped out of Nigeria’s squad for the Africa Cup of Nations. The Hornets have reportedly refused to release Dennis, who has netted eight Premier League goals this season. U20 African Cup winners Philemon Baffour and Mohammed Sulley has departed Ghana to Portugal to complete a move to Rio Ave FC. Black Princesses progress to the fourth round of the 2022 FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup qualifiers after beating the Young Copper Queens of Zambia 1-0 at the Cape Coast stadium on Saturday.
