Asante Kotoko willing to let Sogne Yacouba leave

Asante Kotoko are willing to let Sogne Yacouba leave the club, according to a member of the management who confirmed that the striker wants to leave.

Sogne Yacouba has been linked with several clubs after his stellar performances for Asante Kotoko, Clubs like Nkana FC, Zesco United and Egyptian giants, Al-Ahly have all shown interest in the services of the player.

A representative from the club Nana Kwame Dankwa has revealed that the club has agreed to let the player leave but also stated that they haven’t received any official bid for the player.

“We’ve agreed in principle to let Yacouba Songne leave but as we speak, Asante Kotoko hasn’t received any offers though his agent claims otherwise. He’ll continue to honour the 1 yr left on his contract till the club receives a good offer” he said

Sogne Yacouba wasn’t in the Kotoko team that played Aduana Stars in Kumasi in the Special Competition opener.
