Asante Kotoko continued their preparations for this weekend’s Ghana Premier League clash against Accra Lions at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Following Monday’s defeat against Elmina Sharks, Prosper Narteh and his team intensified their training at the Adako Jachie Training grounds.

George Mfegue and Mudasiru Salifu missed Wednesday’s training session; Mfegue is out of the Accra Lions game through accumulated yellow cards while Mudasiru is reportedly sick.

Mudasiru however reported to the training grounds on Thursday but didn’t train with the entire team; the midfielder watched from the sidelines.

Imoro Ibrahim will also miss this weekend’s game after receiving a red car against Elmina Sharks.

Asante Kotoko will continue preparations on Friday morning.

Predicted 20 man squad for Accra Lions game:

Danlad Ibrahim, Kwame Baah, Augustine Agyapong, Christopher Nettey, Abdul Ganiyu, Yusif Mubarik, Maxwell Agyeman, Charles Owusu, Richmond Lamptey, Sheriff Mohammed, Richard Boadu, Justice Blay, Fabio Gama, Samuel Boateng, Stephen Amankona, Dickson Afoakwa, Frank Mbella Etouga, Evans Adomako and Sarfo Taylor.
