Asante Kotoko SC striker Steven Dese Mukwala has been called up for the Uganda national team ahead of Uganda’s AFCON 2023 qualifications matches.
Head coach of Uganda, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic’s has included the Kotoko striker in his squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifications double-header against Tanzania.

Uganda will host Tanzania at the St. Mary’s Stadium-Kitende on March 24 before the return leg fixture at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam four days later.
Mukwalar has scored eight goals with five assists in 20 appearances in the GPL for Kotoko so far this season.
