Joseph Wollacott and Richard Ofori who were both expected  to be in the final squad have picked up injuries ruling them out of the tournament.

He and Accra Hearts of player, Barnieh are the only local players to make the final team heading to the world cup.

Danlad left Ghana last night for  Abu Dhabi to join the team’s pre-tournament camping.

Kotoko have congratulated him via their social network platforms. Danlad has risen through the ranks from junior level to senior level.

The first match for the Black Stars will be against Portugal on the 24th of  November, followed by South Korea on November 28 and Uruguay on December 2.
