Asante Kotoko confirm departure of the club’s video analyst, Boudjadi.

Earlier reports on Monday indicated that Boudjadi had resigned from his position within the club.

Later in the day, the club confirmed Boudjadi’s departure and provided an explanation for the situation.

The press release stated that before joining the club in Ghana, Boudjadi had sought permission from the management to visit his sick mother in Saudi Arabia.

However, due to the critical nature of the first game of the season against Kadiogo, the club requested that he postpone his trip until after the second leg.

Boudjadi agreed to this request but ultimately did not proceed with the trip.

The statement further explained that in recent days, Boudjadi informed the management about his mother’s deteriorating health and expressed his desire to be with her in Qatar, where she is currently undergoing further treatment.

The management granted his request, and he left Ghana on 22/05/2023.

Kotoko clarified that Boudjadi is not expected to return as there are only three matches remaining in the season, and his contract was scheduled to expire at the end of the season.

The club conveyed their well wishes to Boudjadi, expressing their hope for his future endeavors and extending their hopes for his mother’s speedy recovery.
