Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh ran out of superlatives to describe Fatawu Issahaku’s solo goal against his side on Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Issahaku opened the goal-scoring for Dreams FC late in the game with an incredible solo effort; the attacker dribbled his way into the Kotoko box before placing his shot perfectly to beat the goalkeeper.

However, Asante Kotoko responded with three goals in space of 15 minutes to win the game and travel back to Kumasi with all three points.

Kotoko coach Prosper Nartey was asked about the goal after the game, and he believed the goal is a contender for the goal of the season.

“It was an individual brilliant goal, a fantastic goal. I think my players were scared to foul him and everyone was growing tall whenever they were getting closer to the ball” Narteh said

“And because everyone was growing tall, they couldn’t stretch their legs to put the ball out”

“I think it will stand as one of the best goals of the season; it is a very good goal. Taking the ball from the end of the final third and dribbling through to place the ball at the back of the net, it is a fantastic individual brilliance” he added.

Fatawu Issahaku joined Dreams FC on loan from Division One side Steadfast FC till the end of the season.
