Asante Kotoko coach CK Akonnor have rendered an apology after his reaction following the J.A Kufuor Cup game against rivals Ashanti Gold.
CK Akonnor was involved in a row with a journalist after his coaching style and tactics was questioned. CK Akonnor tried to explain his style and philosophy but lost it when the journalist continued asking him what he is going to do about it.
Akonnor apologized in an interview with Oyerepa FM as he acknowledged that his reaction to the question was not the best.
“I apologise for my reaction to the question the journalist asked, the question was not the best but after watching the video on youtube, I admit my response was not the best, it came out of frustration so I apologise for it,” he said.
