Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of 19-year-old defender Yahaya Dawuni from lower division side Susubiribiri SC.

Yahaya Dawuni joins the Kumasi-based club on a three-year deal.

“I feel so happy to be here. Kotoko is my dream club and I am honoured to be part of this great family, to be able to dorn the iconic red jersey and also play in front of the loyal supporters at the Baba Yara Stadium.” the defender said after signing for the Porcupines.

Yahaya Dawuni becomes Asante Kotoko first signing ahead of the upcoming football season.
