Asamoah Gyan appointed to serve on manifesto committee of Ghana’s Vice President Bawumia.

Ex Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has been appointed by  Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s to join his  manifesto committee.

Gyan’s role involves developing policies for youth and sports, drawing on his vast experience in these fields. His involvement in politics follows his presence at Bawumia’s vision statement delivery for the 2024 General Elections at the UPSA Auditorium.

Known for his iconic status in Ghana, especially as the country’s all-time leading goal scorer with 51 goals, Gyan’s move into politics could extend his influence beyond sports.

Despite potential criticism, Gyan’s role in policy development offers a chance to positively impact Ghana’s youth and sports sectors.

Should Bawumia win the presidency, Gyan could play a significant role in shaping the nation’s future in these areas.
