Antoine Semenyo’s goal secures victory for Bournemouth against Wolverhampton Wanderers

Antoine Semenyo scored the decisive goal as AFC Bournemouth secured a victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux in the English Premier League.

The Ghanaian forward capitalized on a defensive error in the box to score the only goal of the match, marking his eighth goal of the season in the English topflight league.

Semenyo has been in impressive form for the Cherries this season, forming a strong partnership with Dominic Solanke as Andoni Iraola’s side aims for a mid-table finish.

The 24-year-old returned to the starting lineup after recovering from illness, having made appearances from the bench in recent matches.

He currently leads Ghanaian players in the Premier League goalscoring charts, with Mohammed Kudus of West Ham closely behind with seven goals.

Semenyo’s performances have earned him a nomination for the Player of the Month award for March, although the award was ultimately won by Fulham’s Rodrigo Muniz.
