Ampem Darkoa Ladies’ head coach, Nana Joe Adarkwa, maintains a positive outlook ahead of the CAF Women’s Champions League semi-final against Sporting Club Casablanca on Wednesday.

The Ghanaian champions, who emerged from Group B, are set to face the Moroccan side, with a spot in the competition’s final at stake.

Having already secured a victory against another Moroccan team, AS FAR, in the tournament, Nana Adarkwa is confident that his team is well-prepared for the challenge posed by Casablanca.

“Our opponent is familiar with us, but with the grace of God, we will win this match. Nobody wants to experience failure, and I have confidence in my team.”

“I believe everything will go well. Except for one player, everyone is performing well. It will be a highly challenging match, but we are mentally prepared for this encounter,” he expressed during the pre-match press conference.

Adarkwa emphasized the anticipated strength of Sporting Club Casablanca, considering their observation of Ampem Darkoa’s victory over AS FAR.

However, he asserted that his players are well-informed on what to do, and he believes they are fully prepared for the upcoming match.

The winner between Ampem Darkoa and SC Casablanca will  face the  winners from the match involving former champions Mamelodi Sundowns and AS FAR.
