Ajax manager John Heitinga is unsure if Mohammed Kudus will be available for their game against PSV on Sunday.

Last month, Mohammed Kudus suffered an injury during Ajax’s KNVB Cup semi-final game against Feyenoord.

However, he is anticipated to recover in time for the Dutch Cup final against PSV on April 30, 2023.

Heitinga, the coach, was quoted by Voetbal International saying “I can’t say yet whether they will face PSV. The hope is there, but it depends on the upcoming days. ”

“Devyne has completed one training session, and Mohammed has not yet trained.”

Kudus has been in exceptional form this season, registering 18 goals and five assists in all competitions.

It will be a significant setback for Heitinga if Kudus is absent for the final, as he has been able to elicit the best performance from the Ghanaian since taking charge.
