    Agbesi and Agyei of Dreams FC earn spots in CAFCC Team of the Week



    Dreams FC’s goalkeeper Solomon Agbesi and midfielder Emmanuel Agyei have been commended for their exceptional performances, earning spots in the esteemed CAF Confederation Cup Team of the Week.

    Their standout efforts were pivotal in Dreams FC’s impressive display, securing a 1-1 draw against Stade Malien in Kumasi and advancing to the semifinals with a 2-1 aggregate victory after the first leg in Bamako.

    Agbesi showcased his skill and presence with crucial saves, ensuring Dreams FC remained competitive throughout the match. Agyei’s relentless midfield play was instrumental in orchestrating the team’s comeback against the Malian side.

    Their outstanding performances rightfully earned them places in the prestigious Team of the Week, recognizing their significant impact on Dreams FC’s journey in the CAF Confederation Cup.

    With the semifinals approaching, Dreams FC is preparing to face Egyptian giants Zamalek. The first leg is set for April 21, 2024, in Egypt, with the return leg in Kumasi on April 28, 2024.
