A dominant performance from Aduana FC secured their place in the semi-finals of the 2025/26 MTN FA Cup after a comfortable 3-0 victory over Techiman Liberty Youth on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
The Ghana Premier League side showed their quality against their Division One opponents at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, controlling the game and converting their chances at crucial moments.
The breakthrough came in the 39th minute when striker Daouda Ben Sedibe finished off a well-coordinated attacking move to give the hosts the lead heading into halftime.
After the restart, the Dormaa-based club maintained their dominance and doubled the advantage in the 81st minute through Alex Boakye, whose strike effectively ended any hopes of a comeback for the visitors.
Substitute Emmanuel Marfo added further gloss to the scoreline in stoppage time, finding the net in the 90+2 minute to wrap up an emphatic victory. Midfielder Hensen Anponsa was named Man of the Match following an impressive display in the middle of the park, where he controlled the tempo and played a key role in Aduana’s attacking transitions.
The win sends Aduana FC into the semi-finals where they will meet the Nations FC who beat Berekum Chelsea 4-3 on penalties following a goalless draw.
Aduana’s journey to the last four has been impressive. In the Round of 64, they edged past Bechem United 2-1 before defeating Berekum Chelsea 2-0 in the Round of 32. In the Round of 16, the Fire Club eliminated defending champions Asante Kotoko 4-2 on penalties after a goalless draw.
Having now overcome a lower-tier opponent in the quarter-finals, Aduana FC remain firmly on course in their pursuit of a historic first FA Cup title.
The club is also enjoying a strong campaign in the Ghana Premier League, currently third and sitting five points behind leaders Medeama SC with nine matches left to play.
