    Accra Lions have  announced the signing of Abdul Shakun Abubakari from Steadfast FC



    Accra Lions FC,  have officially dannounced the addition of young forward Abdul Shakun Abubakari to their roster for the upcoming season.

    The talented winger, who was highly regarded, completed his transfer from Steadfast FC to Lions on the evening of Wednesday, having successfully undergone his medical assessment.

    He is making the switch from the Tamale-based club for an undisclosed fee, committing to a three-year contract.

    “We are excited to let everyone know about the acquisition of Abdul-Shakun Abubakari. The dynamic and rapid winger achieved a goal tally of 7 in 23 appearances for Steadfast FC in the previous season, competing in @DivisionOneGH,” confirmed Lions in their social media posts.

    Following Mohammed Ali and Yahaya Mohammed, who were both recruited from Tamale City FC, Abubakari becomes the third confirmed addition to the team’s roster.

    After narrowly avoiding relegation in the last season, Lions have their sights set on enhancing their performance in the upcoming 2023-24 Ghana Premier League season.
