Accra Great Olympics temporarily relocate to Kumasi for home league matches

Great Olympics have opted to temporarily relocate their Ghana Premier League matches to Kumasi due to the unavailability of the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Accra Sports Stadium has been booked for concerts and other events during the upcoming Christmas holidays, leading to its closure for football activities until the new year.

Consequently, Olympics have chosen to play their remaining home games at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi until the end of the year.

This includes a crucial match against Asante Kotoko SC on December 24, 2023, and a clash with city and traditional rivals Hearts of Oak on December 31, 2023, both scheduled at the Baba Yara Stadium.

However, Olympics will host Legon Cities FC in the regional derby at the Sogakope Park on Monday.
