Accra Great Olympics return to winning ways in the Ghana Premier League with victory over Nsoatreman at home on Monday.

In a remarkable turnaround, Great Olympics bounced back from their recent loss in midweek to secure victory in the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday.

The Dade Boys fought from behind to end Nsoatreman FC’s unbeaten streak, clinching a 2-1 win in the matchweek nine fixture.

Emmanuel Antwi, the midfielder, played a pivotal role in this comeback, scoring both goals in the second half. The first goal of the match came from the visitors, with Mohammed Abdul Rahman finding the net in the 15th minute against the flow of the game.

However, Olympics leveled the score ten minutes into the second half, thanks to a superb free-kick by Emmanuel Antwi.

Antwi struck again, completing Olympics’ comeback victory shortly after. His precise connection with a cross from substitute Francis Twene secured the win.

This victory propels Olympics up four places in the league standings, securing the 3rd position and trailing the leaders by just one point, with Nsoatreman ahead by three points.
