Accra Great Olympics FC have successfully signed the highly regarded attacking midfielder, Shaibu Ibrahim, on a permanent contract.

At the age of 19, Shaibu Ibrahim will become a part of the ‘Wonder Club’ through a three-year agreement with an undisclosed fee, which also includes a notable clause related to future transfers.

Annor Walker, the head coach of Olympics, has expressed his admiration for the exceptional young talent. Ibrahim is anticipated to create a significant impact for the Dade Boys during the upcoming 2023-24 season.

Ibrahim is joining the ranks of players such as Abdul Wahab Hanan, Konadu Yiadom, Suraj Seidu, and Enoch Asubonteng, who previously transitioned from the Tema-based club to the Ghana Premier League.

In the past season, the young playmaker played a pivotal role for Tema United, showcasing remarkable dribbling abilities and a knack for scoring goals in the second division league.

His outstanding performances led to multiple clubs expressing interest in him from both the Division One and the Premiership. However, Olympics emerged as the victors in the competition to secure his services.
