    Access Bank extends Ghana Division One League sponsorship for three extra seasons



    The Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Access Bank Ghana Plc have extended their sponsorship of the Division One League for an additional three seasons, committing USD270,000 per season.

    This sponsorship reflects Access Bank’s dedication to promoting grassroots sports in Ghana. Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, President of the GFA, expressed appreciation for Access Bank’s continued support, emphasizing the bank’s belief in the transformative power of football.

    He highlighted the partnership’s role in the success of the Division One League and expressed anticipation for elevating the league to new heights.

    Access Bank’s Managing Director, Olumide Olatunji, emphasized the sponsorship’s contribution to empowering Division One League clubs in nurturing young football talent and fostering grassroots sports growth.

    Both organizations encourage active support for the league and emerging players through match attendance, online engagement, and support for local teams.

    Olatunji reiterated Access Bank’s commitment to promoting unity and positive change beyond financial contributions, emphasizing sports’ profound impact on community development.
