Abdul Fatawu likely to return to Asante Kotoko

Abdul Fatawu might return to Asante Kotoko after the club rejected Helsingborgs IF latest offer for the player, Sahara Football understands.

Abdul Fatawu left the shores of Ghana to go on trials with Sweedish club Helsingborgs IF.

Reports are stating that Helsingborgs IF are offering €15,000 for a 1-year loan with an option to make it permanent for €60,000 but Asante Kotoko are not willing to accept the fee after finding the offer derogatory.

Abdul Fatawu will likely return to Ghana to join his teammates if Helsingborgs fails to table a suitable offer.

Asante Kotoko will face Kano Pillars of Nigeria next month in the CAF Champions League, and the return of Abdul Fatawu would be a major boost to the team.
