    Abdul Fatawu Issahaku scores as Leicester defeat Sheffield Wednesday



    Abdul Fatawu Issahaku scored his third goal of the season for Leicester City in the English Championship on Tuesday, helping them to a 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday.

    The Ghanaian midfielder opened the scoring for Leicester in the fourth minute after receiving a pass from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and slotting the ball into an empty net.

    Jamie Vardy sealed the win for Enzo Maresca’s side with a goal in the 36th minute, also assisted by Dewsbury-Hall.

    Leicester now leads the Championship with 78 points from 32 matches, putting them in a strong position for promotion to the Premier League.

    Since joining from Sporting Lisbon in the summer, Abdul Fatawu has been having a solid season with the Foxes.
