This goal marked his sixth of the season since his return to the club in January from China.

Aziz has been a standout performer for Rio Ave, having previously impressed at Wuhan Three Towns, where he netted 15 goals in 23 appearances.

The 25-year-old opened the scoring early in the game, but Vizela equalized through Samuel Essende in the 37th minute, leading to a shared result after both halves.

Abdul Aziz has now scored six goals in 15 appearances for Rio Ave this season. His compatriot, Emmanuel Boateng, also featured in the match. With this draw, Rio Ave currently sits in 11th place on the league table with 32 points.
