The semi-finals of the 2025/26 Women’s FA Cup played at the Cape Coast Stadium on 21st March, 2026 lived up to expectations, with Army Ladies and Hasaacas Ladies securing dominant victories to book their places in the final.

Army Ladies set the tone in the first semi-final with a dominant 5-1 victory over Samartex Ladies. Alamisi Atakaga gave Army a 1-0 lead before halftime, but Samartex equalized in the 60th minute through Alex Ibinabo Georgewill.

Army responded instantly and took full control of the game, scoring four more goals through Zinatu Alhassan, Linda Achiaa, Esther Asamoah Yiadom, and Afia Boaduwa Twumwaa. A missed penalty by Samartex at a crucial stage further compounded their struggles as Army cruised to victory.

In the second semi-final, league leaders Hasaacas Ladies proved too strong for Jonina Ladies, securing a convincing 3-0 win. Milot Pokuaa struck twice in the 6th and 38th minutes to put Hasaacas firmly in control, before Mary Ndali added a late goal to seal the result.

With Hasaacas Ladies currently top of the Women’s Premier League and Army Ladies in second place, the final promises to be a thrilling showdown between the two best teams in the country.
