The 2025/26 Greater Accra Regional Football Association Women’s FA Cup Round of 16 fixtures have been confirmed following the official balloting held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at the Accra Sports Stadium Media Centre.
The balloting was conducted alongside the GARFA Leagues Stakeholders Meeting, which also served as a review of the first round of the season. The process was coordinated by the leadership of the GARFA Women’s Division One League Committee, led by Chairperson Cleopatra Nsiah Nketiah, with support from Vice Chairman Alhaji A.K.M. Oliver.
The meeting was attended by key GARFA officials, including Chairman Samuel Aboabire, Vice Chairman Gabriel Godwin Kwao, and other Executive Council members, as well as representatives of Women’s Division One clubs and GARFA Division Two Men’s League teams.
The GARFA Women’s FA Cup, which is in its second edition, continues to grow in stature. In the maiden edition, Oaks FC, the female team of Accra Hearts of Oak and now a Women’s Premier League side, emerged champions. Oaks FC defeated Teshie Constant Ladies in the final via a 4–3 penalty shootout victory, following a goalless draw at the end of regulation time. The final was played on May 11, 2025, at the Alajo AstroTurf, crowning Oaks FC as champions of the 2024/25 GARFA Women’s FA Cup.

GARFA also announced the match calendar for the remainder of the competition, structured to align with other competitions in the season. The Round of 16 matches will be played over the weekend of February 7 and 8. The quarterfinals (Round of 8) are scheduled for March 7 and 8, while the semi-finals will take place on April 4 and 5. The final of the competition is expected to be staged in May.
With competitive fixtures lined up and clear timelines announced, the 2025/26 GARFA Women’s FA Cup promises another exciting chapter as clubs battle for regional supremacy and a place in the history of women’s football in Greater Accra.
