    2024 AFCON Futsal: Ghana Coach Phillip Boakye Expresses Confidence in Team’s Prospects at Morocco Tournament



    Ghana Futsal Team’s Head Coach, Philip Boakye, Confident Ahead of AFCON Tournament in Morocco

    Philip Boakye, the head coach of Ghana’s Futsal team, is optimistic about his team’s chances at the upcoming championship in Morocco.

    The team’s qualification victory over Ivory Coast marked their return to the tournament after a lengthy absence.

    Last week, the team departed Ghana for Morocco, where they continued their preparations and played a friendly match against Raja Casablanca’s Futsal club, winning 5-4.

    Coach Boakye expressed his satisfaction with the team’s readiness for the tournament, stating, “We have had excellent preparations and support from the FA, especially the president.”

    “We are very confident that we will win this tournament and also qualify for the World Cup.”

    Ghana’s campaign in the tournament will kick off with a match against Zambia, followed by a game against host nation Morocco. Their group stage matches will conclude with a fixture against Angola.
