Milovan Rajevac explains why he made late substitutions against Morocco

Ghana Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac explained why he made late substitutions in their 1-0 defeat against Morocco on Monday.

Milovan Rajevac made his first substitutions a few minutes after Morocco opened the scoring through Soufiane Boufal.

Ghana fans on social media expected the coach to make his substitutions earlier after struggling to create chances or pose danger to the Moroccan defence.

“Everything was pretty tight and everything was functioning well and I thought we had everything under control,” Milovan said after the game

“I have to analyze the goal we conceded so I can be able to say more about it.”

“Everything was going well so there was no need to make unnecessary changes because up to the moment we conceded the goal, we had the game under control” he added

Ghana will face Gabon in their next group game and Milovan will be looking to bounce back from the defeat against Morocco.
