CONFIRMED: Three players leave Asante Kotoko

Asante Kotoko have released three players ahead of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.

Jordan Opoku, Augustine Sefah, and Kwame Boahene have all been released by Asante Kotoko, the club’s rep Nana Coker confirmed on Saturday.

Augustine Sefah and Jordan Opoku joined the Porcupines in 2017, while Kwame Boahene joined in 2016. They all featured in the Special Competition and in their last African campaign under CK Akonnor.

Special advisor to Dr. Kwame Kyei, Nana Gyembibi Coker confirmed the club have ordered Jordan Opoku and Agustine Sefa to search for clubs due to the expiration of their contract.

“l can confirm to you that we have these two players to search for clubs because we no longer need their service,” He told Light FM sports.

“We have told Jordan Opoku and Augustine Sefa they can’t continue here. So they should go and find clubs.

” Apart from them all the names going around is not true.”

Both Jordan Opoku and Augustine Sefa’s contract will end in December.
