The exciting forward gave a good account of himself in the over half an hour he played on to be replaced by Kamal Sowah.

When he asked about his first game, he remarked that it was a good game and he wasn’t under any pressure to deliver.

“It was a good game. There was no pressure. I stuck to what the coaches said and everything went well for me” he told JoySports.

Daniel Afriyie Barnieh put up a solid game in Ghana’s 2-0 victory over Switzerland and will be hoping for more game time when the tournament kicks off this weekend.

Ghana is billed to play, Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea at the World Cup.
