Inter Allies were denied three points by a determined Elmina Sharks side in the Special Competition opener on Sunday at the Tema Stadium.

Inter Allies were dominant throughout the game but the Elmina Sharks defence stood firm to deny The Capelli boys.

Patrick Armah had the opportunity to put his side in front but couldn’t convert the opportunity as his shot went wide.

It was clear that Elmina Sharks came into the game with the mindset of preventing the home side from finding the back of the net.



The game ended in a 0-0 draw and Issaka Mohammed of Elmina Sharks was named the man of the match.
