Special Competition: Disappointed CK Akonnor reveals misunderstanding at Kotoko
Asante Kotoko lost their second game in the Special Competition on Thursday against Medeama in Tarkwa, and their coach CK Akonnor claims that there is a bit of misunderstanding at the club.
CK Akonnor played without his key players against Medeama and his team had to play most of the game with a man down after Abass was sent off in the 33rd minute of the game.
“Oh yeah…I am disappointed with the result. We came here to win or draw. We struggled during the match,” Coach Akonnor told GTV after the match.
“We struggled because we played the game without a striker and some key players. There is a bit of misunderstanding on the way we do things [at Kotoko]”
Asante Kotoko will travel to face Techiman Eleven Wonders on Sunday.
