The reigning European Champions and Spanish giants reportedly could be considering a move for the French man Ousmane Dembele as an alternative to Kylian Mbappe and also to rival Barcelona, and the two Premier league teams Manchester United and Chelsea who are also in the chase for the French man’s services.
This seems to have drawn the media attention towards Dembele, who is one of Europe’s most highly rated youngsters after his fine performance last season, being his first season, with Borussia Dortmund.
The European champions have been linked heavily with the Monaco striker for this summer, but may now try their luck with a move for his fellow Frenchman, who could be considerably cheaper.
Reports last week suggested a move for Mbappe to make the switch to the Bernabeu will cost them around £161million, though it has since been claimed that Monaco have raised the price.
Dembele, who turned 20 earlier this year, is valued at around £80million which would cost less than half what Monaco are asking for the 18-year-old Mbappe, though Borussia Dortmund have openly insisted the starlet is not for sale this summer transfer window.
