Leeds United have unveiled their new club crest and the general reaction, to put it in the kindest terms possible, has been of intense mockery.
Ditching the “white rose” badge they’ve sported for the last 20 years, the Championship side proudly revealed their new crest on Wednesday.
The jokes were instant, with many social media users noting the similarities between Leeds’ new badge and the intentionally generic, copyright-friendly crests used by the Pro Evolution Soccer game franchise.
